Switching it up

I am antsy and decided that I need to switch it up. Switch what up, you ask...well I am not sure but a little change for the better is always a good thing. I switched up my hair with a fresh cut. I switched up the look of my site and my apartment a bit as well. I may try going vegetarian again for awhile, or just get out of town and visit my parents.

Birthday recap

I woke up at 6:30 because of a really bad dream. Thank God that Missy was online and could talk me through it. She is so great. I let it go and had a nice lunch and Starbucks with Erin Gungor. The party really got started when I showed up for dinner at my favorite Indian restaurant. All of my Tulsa crew was there. The food was great and I finally found out what the secret gift was that everyone chipped in on. I got a mini iPod! It is so perfect, and it looks so cute in my MINI cooper. Some of the party went to Nordaggios after dinner and then I went to play with my iPod. It was as close as close to perfect as it could be without Missy being there. Thanks to all the people who chipped in and thanks Elvis for the secret post. And thanks to the Gungors for my sweet earrings.

Tomorrow is my Birthday!

HINT HINT

Yesterday was my best day at Fleming's Steak House

Sundays are typically slow and I usually am the first one to volunteer to go home. I had given up the dream of seeing The Killers, who were in concert at Cain's, because the only ticket I could find was on Ebay for $250, (thanks for trying to get me there Angelene.) Well after just clocking in at 4 I received my first table. It was Ben Folds and his wife and kids. They were really nice and reserved, ordering salmon and sides (no red meat). It made my day and I had said to Michael Esser,"The only thing that would be better is if The Killers came in and ate." Not more than 5 minutes later The Freaking Killers came in. Yes, it is true, my birthday wish came true. I got to wait on The Killers. They are super hot rock stars. They ordered great expensive :) wine and liked the food so much they ordered more to go. I was totally star struck to the point of almost dorking out in front of the drummer on his was to the mens room. But I think I played it as cool as possible. Sunday at Fleming's has never been as exciting.
